Created by Aimpoint
GAIM was created by Aimpoint - the inventor of the red dot sight. The idea of a red dot sight Aimpoint® can be traced to a toilet roll. It all started in 1974, when technician and inventor Arne Ekstrand wanted to improve his accuracy on moving targets during hunting and while on the shooting range.
The rest is history. And maybe GAIM is the first time you shoot with an Aimpoint. So let us guide you through the basics.
Most important of all – keep booth eyes open!
Step-by-step guide
Step 1. With both eyeys open, focus your eyes where you want to release the shot. For example the lungs of the wild boar.
Step 2. Make contact with the red dot at the rear of the animal and steal speed and angle in a split second.
Step 3. Swing through and shoot when the red dot enters the area your eyes are focused on.
Further away or faster speed?
Move focus area further forward on the wild boar or in front of the boar when distance and speed increases.
Focus – Contact – Swing – Shoot
